“Exactly. Assuming someone is unstable, being dumped can bring on wildly inappropriate responses. However, I think there’s more than his feelings at work here.” He paused, and Denise wondered, again, if he was editing his words. Finally, he said, “I don’t want to go into all the reasons why right now, but I think there is another force at work here. A dark force. Perhaps even demonic in origin.”
