Dafydd chuckled, the sound low in his throat. “Typical. Powerful supernatural creatures do seem fascinated with being cryptic.” He shot Paul a fond look.

The vampire merely raised an eyebrow. “I am certain I don’t know to what you are referring.” His voice was dry.

“Right.” Dafydd drew out the word. Then his expression shifted to serious. “Okay, so your angel is trying to get your attention. We think a demon might be involved. Both of those add up. Any chance your angel will be willing to help directly?”
