Thursday, May 6, 2010: Just After Sunrise

Paul took me home, and we saw one of Runner’s people lurking around my apartment. Fine. I didn’t mind the company.

I took the opportunity to get some sleep. We had a big night ahead of us, which was going to follow a long day brewing potions.

Like most of my magic, potion-making is more of an art than a science, although it looks more like science than most of what I do. I’d stocked up on materials before the trip to see the fairy ring. Wow! Was that really just a few days ago?

Anyway, while the extra magic of sunrise and sunset is helpful to rituals, I don’t need it for potions, so I treated myself to sleeping in until almost nine o’clock. I kind of figured I deserved it by now.
