How can they do us any harm? They have only seen Lily and me and we are both wearing caps and bandanas. Wait. Maybe they saw our crew. She motioned Lily over. “Check on our guys.” she whispered. “Be sure to let Freya know it’s you before you open the door.”  She turned back to the old couple. “Lace your fingers and put your hands on top of your heads.  And face the wall.”

“Should we check the other room first?”

“You’re right. See if you can detect anyone.” She watched as Lily stood motionless for several seconds in front of the door. Lily shook her head. “Verify.”

She watched as Lily moved into the room just as she had taught her. Like a pro! She was back out in less than a minute.
