Lily dialed Geffen and immediately let her know she was on speaker. “We need direction quickly.” she told her.  She recounted the recent events and then asked, “What do you want us to do?”

“We need the higher-ups' input. Hold on a minute.”

They could hear her talking rapidly on another phone. “Our first priority is to get that plane and the bodies out of there. There is no explaining them away.” There was a short silence. “Not soon enough! You can’t get a pilot here any faster?”

“Wait.” they heard Freya in the background. “Hannes is a pilot. I don’t know if he can fly that plane, but we can fly.”
