Lily saw McKinney had taken cover behind their van and that four men were herding the three plane crew members toward the other van at gunpoint. Just as she and Shimmy were about to take cover behind a dumpster, the shooter stopped firing and started to reload.

At the pause in fire, McKinney leaned around the side of the van and began a string of deliberate and rhythmic shots at the other man. She could see the target react to being hit, shot after shot. He dropped his weapon and slumped down to one knee and reacted like he had been hit again.

That’s some good shooting.  One of the men from the first group started back toward the fallen man, firing as he went. “Shimmy, Callum’s got him. Keep the other guy from getting to him.”
