At nine o’clock the following morning the team was gathered around several laptops and a video meeting using a proprietary conferencing program was just starting. A headquarters contingent including Haya, Tia, Thorroddson, Bragason, and the two Council members were in the virtual conference room.

Geffen quickly explained what they discovered. “How do want us to proceed?”

“The prospect of having five new subjects to study is extremely exciting. We often go several months without having that many new subjects.” Thorroddson answered. “But if we decide to study these new subjects, we are going to have to expand our operations by a large number.”
