The desk clerk caught them as they were going into the hotel. “There is a package for you that was delivered a few minutes ago.” She slid it across the counter. It was about eighteen inches square and four inches deep. It was wrapped in plain brown paper and there was no return address.

Geffen nodded and mumbled a thank you. From the heft, she was pretty sure what it was. “The other pistol.” she told him.

She unwrapped it as soon as they got back to the room. It was another of the Walthers with three different style holsters. She handed the package to Shimmy. “Show me.” she instructed with a smile. Shimmy quickly and efficiently went through the complete weapon check out routine that Geffen had taught them.  She ultimately wound up with a fully loaded, function...
