Author Bio For J. G. Gordon:

While The True Revelation is my first crack at science fiction, I have a mystery/thriller novella, Death in the Past, awaiting publication, and a full-length mystery/thriller novel, A Wisp of Smoke, in final edits.

In terms of relevant experience for this genre, I worked as a police officer, both as a patrolman and an evidence specialist. I also spent four years in the US Army Security Agency doing intelligence work, including tours of duty in Viet Nam and at the National Security Agency. During that time I held a top-secret security clearance.

I have been a member of the League of Utah Writers for seven years and am the Past President of the local chapter. I am currently an officer of a newly formed online chapter for mystery writers called The Usual Suspects. I frequently present and do training sessions on a variety of writing and communication topics.

I am a retired college educator and have a business degree from Arizona State and a master’s in education from Utah State.
