Dan DelMont is a professional journalist, author, playwright and historian. His prize-winning play, "The Interrogation of Miriam of Nazareth," was produced in Paris and in the U.S. He has been published in five top fifty newspapers in the United States and Britain, in various magazines and weeklies, and has been a professional book editor. Dan is interested in international affairs, travel, films, politics, literature, classical music, science fiction, religion, ancient and modern history, and American college sports. He has lived in many states, including New York, Georgia, Minnesota and Louisiana. He has several graduate degrees but thinks the college of experience teaches lessons that go beyond any schooling. The universe is a mystery to him, but he keeps investigating it. This book is one such investigation.                     Dan is a member of the National Book Critics Circle.
