Lisa has been a published writer for over 30 years, initially launching her career in scientific writing, primarily crafting peer-reviewed journal articles and contributing to biological databases. Transitioning to creative writing in 2017 marked a significant shift in her professional trajectory.
Her educational background includes an Associate of Arts in English Literature and Writing, a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management with a minor in Writing, and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership.
Throughout most of her adult life, Lisa dedicated herself to Veterinary Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation Biology. However, following her retirement from these industries in 2020, she has redirected her focus toward conducting group classes, workshops, and crafting poetry and romance novels.
Lisa currently resides in Huntington Beach, sharing her home with her beloved cat and horse.
