To wear fancy costumes

To meet friends and neighbors

It is all great fun

But the very best part

Chocolates galore abound

Is it solid?

Are there nuts?

Is there caramel or crispy rice inside?

There’s only one way to find out!

There’s bubblegum and caramels

Peanut butters chews, too

Candies of all flavors, shapes and sizes

A delicious adventure, indeed!

So many to choose from

So many sweet delights

All awaiting their chance

To be gleefully enjoyed
