              “If you know so much then why insult me with this?” I held up the arrow. “You thought this archaic weapon would work against me?”

              “No, no, Mr. Gower. No insult intended. It was merely a test.”

              Once again I heard the click and the rush of an arrow and this time I was ready, but as soon as my hand wrapped around the shaft something slammed into me from behind, knocking me to my knees.
