                I clenched my fists and shouted in frustration as I punched the brick in front of me and felt it give a little under my hand, my chest still heaving while I watched the superficial scrapes on my knuckles knit back together. I was just as mad at myself as I was at her for believing she actually cared about me. I studied my surroundings and realized for as many years as I had lived in Miami, I didn't recognize where I was.
