I got in on the passenger side and closed the door, all outside noise instantly falling away. “Wow.” I gave an admiring survey of the car's luxurious leather-clad interior. “Soundproof?”

                “Yep. And the windows are tinted too.” Meegan eased the car out into the light early evening traffic and we took off down the street.

                “So, how did you find me?” I asked after a few minutes of uneasy quiet ticked by.

                “It's not difficult when you still keep property in your real name.”...
