Amos had been right. It was a little sweet, a little strong and half the fun was the steamy goodness. Katerina hadn’t felt so alive in years. The first sip brought her courage back and her eyes smiled in appreciation. The second sip turned her brain on. She was suddenly aware that she’d come with her best friend and just moments ago had been in mid-break down because of how her abusive ex-boyfriend might show up. Looking at Amos, she put the cup down and contorted her face into a frown.

            “Have I done something to disappoint you, Katerina? Let me fix it immediately.” His breath caressed her skin and she forced her eyes to look into his once more.
