Across the foyer Jennifer turned to Penelope and told her, “Thank you so much for having us! I will take you up on your generous offer and come back to see you again.” 

“Yes,” Adam agreed, “it might have been a whirlwind of a stay, but your hospitality has been delightful.” He kissed her hand in gratitude. 

“It has been my pleasure, you two young lovebirds,” Penelope responded graciously. “And who would have thought possible such an outcome to your short stay?”
