He set her down upstairs in his den, upon a metal chair which had been set up alongside a wall with several others.  Birdwhistle escorted Penelope into a seat beside her, then he and Hal joined the others as they attempted to set up their ghostbusting gear. 

“Show us the section of the room in which these anomalies occur,” Blimey ordered, and Hal pointed to the opposite side of the room from his desk. 

“Over that-a-way,” he told him. ...
