Inaccuracies really piss me off. Sometimes. Actually, I can accurately say that inaccuracies are subjective. This made me think, when does accuracy count, and when do inaccuracies not matter? This whole subject came to me from the movie Gods of Egypt. I just saw it. And I wanted to see it. And I also knew it would be atrocious. Putting aisde the “whitewashing” of the Middle Eastern and African location, people, heritage, beliefs…and everything it was, I knew it was just a vehicle for some special effects eye candy. And some actor and actress candy. On this, it did deliver. I was surprised how many actors I recognized. Which makes me wonder if this was supposed to be epic. Like, Epic, a new Mummy.
