Mastering Magic

We continued to meet nearly every day in my secret spot. She told me everything. Showed me the letter her mother Cassey had left for her. I still avoided discussing magic as often as I could. She didn’t let up though. She made me practice different things. Learning to be creative in how to apply magic. Like turning sand into water. I was sitting comfortably in the sand when suddenly I found myself plunged beneath the surface of a large pool of water. I was gasping for air as I fought for the surface.
