Not another word was spoken. Ralph, with a closed fist, struck tats on the chin. The skinny man sank to the floor like a sack of concrete. His mate was about to retaliate but Ralph anticipated this and fended off a lame right swing. He then kicked the man’s legs and followed up with a solid punch to the nose. The man fell and the commotion seemed to be over except the publican and his staff, three beefy men, standing with baseball bats in hand, told the fighters to disappear or the cops would be called. Ralph and Gary left in a huff.
