Markus drove on and soon they were in another tunnel. When they reached her flat in Palmer Street, Cammeray she invited him in but he declined, saying he needed to get up early the next morning.

She handed him a card. “Will you call me?”

“Sure,” he said. Markus pocketed the card after noting she worked in HR for a large company and that her full name was Robyn Rawlings. He waited until she was walking to her block of flats then drove off with more speed than was necessary. Was he really going to call her? He had no idea. She seemed a little too pushy for his liking. He remembered his ex-wife and her annoying habit of organising his social life. He could do without another one of those women.
