Chapter 7

Gail spun around and thought she looked good. Her bottom was shapely but not too big and the tight skirt highlighted her major asset perfectly. She turned back and checked the dark red lipstick and black shoes in the floor to ceiling mirror. She was ready for another day at the office. She went into the kitchen and noted that Tom was cleaning up after his bacon and egg  muffin breakfast. He looked briefly at her but didn’t comment.

Gail went back to the bedroom to collect her handbag. Along the way she popped into the second bedroom and spoke to Susan, their fifteen-year old daughter, who was getting ready for school. “What are you doing after school today?”

“I’m going to Abby’s. I told you yesterday mum, remember?”
