“I’d prefer to do it here. Sit down. I’ll be back. I need a drink. Water that is.” Ross Burrows walked into the kitchen adjoining the living room and poured himself a glass of water. He ran his hand through his thick sandy hair which hadn’t been near a barber or hairdresser for months.
Burrows pulled up a dining chair to face the two cops. He seemed uncertain to whom he should look so he chose to look at a spot between the pair. “What do you want to know?”
“Your wife was found in the elevator. Why did you put her there after you killed her?”
