Chapter 6

Detective Sergeant Mitch Bulliver, a Homicide Squad veteran, was assigned to investigate a murder after midnight on Sunday March 10th. He wasn’t happy about it. He was just about to doze off when his mobile rang. He cursed and switched on the night light. He grabbed the irritant from the dresser. Checking the caller ID he saw it was work and swore again. He had had a night out with his wife at the local restaurant in Seaforth and the couple were about to go to sleep after a vigorous sexual session. The first such session in more than a month and Bulliver reflected on how wonderful his wife could be, when she wanted, before contentedly lying beside her.
