Connie was not impressed with the Grace Hotel, a restored heritage hotel, as she wandered through to the elevators. She considered it to be a step down from the Four Seasons but didn’t let that discourage her too much. Still miffed that Trent had not contacted her, she vowed to make the most of the night. She knocked on the door of a level 6 room and was totally taken aback when the man who answered was already in a white bathrobe, no doubt keen to get physical.
“Hello,” she said, “Are you ‘ScotFree’?”
“You bet, come right in.” He let her pass and slapped her on the bottom as she moved past him.
Connie turned and glared. This was no sophisticate. That was the problem with this set-up; there was no way to filter class.
