She looked in the mirror and pressed her lips together. The Barracuda Berry shade was exciting and she felt fabulous. She was going to make the night one to remember.

Connie Burrows was the most successful woman in her circle. She was an insurance executive at a major listed corporation and she earned considerably more than her carpenter husband. She was only five-foot-five without heels but she had often been complimented by men and women alike for her good looks and stylish fashion sense. Unlike other women she met, Connie had kept her figure despite two children and regular business lunches. Of course she worked at it, attending the local gym five days a week and sticking to salads most of the time.
