Chapter 1 Sydney 2013

The Nikon D3200 lay near the bed. It was Markus’ new toy, the best entry level DSLR camera from the brand. He had researched cameras for more than a few months before choosing this model. He had never had much time to focus on his hobby but now that he was retired he could spend as much time as he desired. Markus was lying on his side, eyes only slightly open. He tried to recall where he was. Of course, it came back to him. He was with Phoebe in Phoebe’s Eastern Suburbs semi-detached house. They had been walking in the park and he had taken photographs of her in various poses. Centennial Park was huge and they had wandered all over, observing bike riders, ducks and people on picnics. He had taken lots of pictures of the scenery but mainly of her. She was very photogenic....
