Colin Meredith had chosen an active GPS tracking system because it allowed him to receive data from his desktop computer, his central tracking portal. He noted there was no activity on Penelope’s vehicle from the battery-powered motion-activated device. He stood and stretched. Was she not driving for a couple of days? Was the device faulty? He doubted both scenarios. He figured she must be away. Perhaps she was on holiday or away on business. This was a perfect time to check out her flat.
