At last, Markus thought when he entered the hotel room and saw Penelope lounging on the bed watching the news on television. After ending his lunch with Nick, he felt like a walk and decided to wander the streets and browse what was available in some of the attractive looking stores. He didn’t know Melbourne well and found exploring it exciting. Apart from the shopping opportunities the city also boasted other interesting sights and so many cafes and restaurants that he vowed to come back on a holiday sometime soon. After a while he’d checked his wristwatch and was surprised how much time had passed. He strode back wondering whether Penelope had finished her mission.
