This time the meeting was at a restaurant in Rose Bay. The taxi dropped her off at Lyn Park just off New South Head Road and after paying by credit card, Rachel strode to the Catalina Restaurant and asked for a Mr Smith. She was a few minutes late because she was sick of being the sitting duck, the one usually waiting. The back-up team was in place with a couple of undercover cops dining at the same spot. She was escorted through an open plan dining room and she was amazed by the fabulous harbour views with yachts gently swaying on the water. Lights shone in the distance.
Errol was already seated when she entered and she noted the red rose on the table which was the signature they’d agreed to use. The waiter stopped at Errol’s table but left when Errol suggested he return when his guest had settled...
