Chapter 31 

Markus once again reviewed the details of the women murdered by the ‘Tooth’ killer as he now referred to him. This was a personal tag, one not shared by the other detectives. Officially he was named the ‘North Shore Killer’. Markus found this inaccurate because some murders attributed to the killer had taken place in Melbourne.

Certainly, when Markus spread the photos of the murdered women across his desk, their physical appearances were similar. Short, trim and dark haired. He also decided to review their profiles again, in detail, to see whether similarities other than the obvious played a part.
