“What’s this all about,” Dr Chilton said when they were both seated, facing each other across a desk.
“I understand that Daphne McDonald was a patient of yours?”
“Daisy…she called herself Daisy but that’s correct. She was here about two months ago. I gave the police information to confirm that so I don’t understand why you’re here.”
Markus sucked on his mint. “Did you know she was murdered?”
“Jesus! I had no idea. When?”

Dr Chilton was a neat man in his late fifties. He wore a trimmed moustache which matched his dyed brown hair. “She was a talkative young lady – I’d say late twenties – new to Sydney."
