At seven thirty-five Penelope strolled in. She looked radiant as she scanned the establishment and when she spotted him her face changed with a smile he adored. Her physical features were wonderful, long dark flowing hair, alabaster skin, fine figure wrapped in a stylish black dress but her smile lit up his heart, so warm and inviting it was. He stood and kissed her on the cheek as he held her chair out for her, the waiter not being quick enough to do the job.
“You’re right on time,” Markus said, not quite knowing what to say. He was going to compliment her on her appearance but decided she got that all the time and he wanted to be different, individual even but then he suffered from being tongue-tied.
