Penelope occupied a window seat and she gazed outside after take-off. The view was of woolly clouds punctuating a blue sky. To her it seemed like large white puffy bits of cotton wool spoiling a lovely blue background. As she watched the interesting designs float by her thoughts were of the trip to Melbourne and the anticipation of meeting up with Markus. He had to take an earlier flight to meet with a police officer in the city. And their plan to have the same room at the Crown Metropol was thwarted by Carolyn, Penelope’s sister.
