“Hi I’d like you to meet Markus,” she said, “Markus this is Shelley and Chris.”

Markus shook Chris’ hand then offered his hand to a six foot Shelley in tiny shorts. She declined the hand but brushed his cheek with her lips. “Nice to meet you,” she said, “where have you hidden this man, Laura?”

Laura smiled. “Congratulations you two, how was the wedding?” “Excellent,” said Shelley, “pity you couldn’t come. Hawaii stopped quite a few people from coming but if the parents are keen to have it at such an exotic location, who’s complaining?”

“Very nice,” said Markus, “I wish I had parents like yours.”
