ate our stew in front of the window and watched the ice cover the snow and everything else. 

“At least we don’t have to worry about the power going out,” I said.

He was quiet for a minute, then he started laughing. “Oh my God, I can’t believe you just said that! We never have to worry about that again, do we? We can sit here and enjoy watching it without that worry.”

“We don’t have to worry about going to work, or needing to go to the store. There is no where to go and I like it.”

I cleaned up from our meal and we sat in front of the window and just watched the ice coat the trees and ground.
