I love my job, even when Gerry Daly is being particularly picky about local history group admin, when Linda is ignoring her work, when Boss Lady is spewing corporate proverbs, when Oscar the kitten scratches me, or when I find books which have been loved to death spraying loose pages.

Yes, even on those days I love my job. I get to see small children’s eyes light up when they’re told they can take home six books. I’ve made friends here and the library is my home.
