This week has been manic and I’m blaming Beth. Maybe a full time job plus book editing and review writing was an over-commitment, but I would have coped if it wasn’t for Beth’s idea. Although at least I now own a top hat, it wasn’t a total bust.

She stole the idea from some other library online - a costume swapping day before Halloween. Children out-grow their costumes quickly and they end up in landfill. This way each costume gets a second life and it saves parents money too. Boss Lady dreamed of sustainability points from Library HQ, and Linda liked the idea of a jumble sale. She loves a good car-boot sale.
