Last year’s April Fool’s Day was a watershed. I wasn’t 100% sure at the time, but in the run up to this year’s event I chatted to Linda and got confirmation that I was fairly sure wasn’t a trick. I couldn’t be 100% until today, of course, because she’s a prank-playing-fiend in human form, but wow. I just passed a full day of work in the library on April First and I didn’t get played even once. 

Well, I did have a five year old boy try to convince me to open his jack-in-the-box toy and I played along with my surprised reaction, but that does not count because I wasn’t fooled for even a second. Nice try, kid. Come back next year with a stronger effort.
