Today’s the 6th of January and I’ve decided it’s going to be a Good Year.

Not that last year as a Bad Year. Things went through a wobble with Alex but we finished strong. I never expected last January that by the end of the year I’d have a TV show, a podcast series, and a substantial pay rise to my name. Last year was a Good Year for my bank balance.

But this year, it’s going to beat them all. I’m heading in with a lovely boyfriend who wants to live with me (although admittedly nowhere to do that and the chance that he’ll have to move away for a while), a positive bank balance, no sign of a flu that everybody else seems to have caught, and some great news to start off the year.
