I love Christmas. I can’t wait to put up the decorations in the library at the start of December. I adore meeting up with friends and family during the month. Not to mention gifts. Alex did particularly well this year. We set a spending limit of twenty euro because we’re saving for our new place. We’ve enough for the deposits and such but if we get an unfurnished place we’ll need to get some furniture. Plus it’s at the back of my mind that if he gets that job in Limerick I’ll need the extra cash to take trains up and down to visit him.

Hence the gift being twenty euro or less. I found him a really good technical fleece jacket online in a vintage sale for him to wear when he’s training at the rowing club. He loved it. Then he produced his gift for me.
