Alex is BACK.

It feels great to write that down.

That stupid archiving course lasted far too long. It may have been compressed from nine months, but four months was still too long. Way too long.

But he’s back now and all is right with the world again.

Except for two things (three if you count the infuriating red dots, which I shouldn’t, if I want to retain a slender grasp on my sanity).

First, it didn’t escape my notice that he returned in time for the annual rowing club regatta. He could miss my birthday, and be too broke to manage a flight home during the 4.5 month stint in London, but he couldn’t leave his crew without him for the regatta, oh no.
