“Every story needs conflict,” said Kitty when I complained about the local history group.

“That writing book says it’s vital.”

Kitty wrote her first novel over the last two National Novel Writing challenges but she’s stuck on the whole editing thing. She’s afraid because once her edits are done she’ll have to submit it to publishers and agents. At that point it becomes real and other people will judge her work.
