Today was magic from start to finish, and not just because of the Harry Potter theme our parade group chose for our entry in the annual Saint Patrick’s Day parade.

“Hasn’t that been done to death by now?” I asked when Simon and Julia brought me the news.
He shook his head with a definite no. If a third year med student says it’s still cool, you should listen.

“No way,” said Julia. “I bet the books still get borrowed lots, right?”

“True.” The series is never in danger of being de-stocked from lack of borrowing activity. And I already owned a witch’s costume from my first year in the library. The time, as Linda loves to tell everybody, when I scared small children.
