You wouldn’t believe Castle Bailey was covered in snow this day last week. In some very shaded corners of flowerbeds there are traces of icy lumps, but apart from muddy puddles on the roads, all snow signs have vanished, along with the snowmen in the gardens and my snow-bear in the courtyard garden. At least I have my photos to prove it once existed in a quiet corner of the library.

Bob the Library Bear is back in charge of the Children’s Section and Linda was back in charge of bossing me around. Business as usual.

Well, nearly as usual, except for one sense - smell.

Beth and Linda worked together to organise the Recipe Swap and the smells from the community meeting room were absolutely amazing today. Everybody walking in the door commented on it.
