Today was a busy library day. During the first week in the New Year it’s like everybody in the town has been storing up their library queries over the Christmas break.

Several readers popped in with apologetic faces about having overdue books but we always give a grace period in early Jan. They weren’t in trouble. It’s nice to be able to give them that relieved look when I explain.
