Today it rained all afternoon. I got soaked on my bike ride home because I forgot to bring my rain gear with me this morning, but I don’t care. I still have sunshine and ice-creams in my heart.

I spent three days last week in Galway with Alex and the sun never stopped shining. The sunsets over Galway Bay went on for ever. We sat and enjoyed them by the Spanish Arch each evening. It’s a popular spot for it and families come to feed the swans on the water. A few people had a couple of beers too many but I was happy to sit there, eating an ice-cream cone, and chatting with him.

“Do you think we could squeeze in a few more books in our bags if we left our shoes behind?”

He laughed. “Nina, do I need to check you into BA - Booklovers Anonymous?”
