In this diary I write about the odd things that happen at work. I thought for once it might be good to describe a normal week.

Monday

We’re closed on Mondays. I was going to meet Alex that evening (he works Monday to Friday) but he had extra training for the annual regatta. Instead I spent the day buying groceries, doing laundry, and hunting for a new basket for my bike (the old one broke). Mick made his amazing thai chicken curry for dinner for all of us.

Tuesday

Linda was finally out of her support boot. This is the final step (pardon the pun) on her road to broken leg recovery. She needs more physio exercises to regain strength, but she was practically dancing a jig with happiness. She offered to give me the old plastic boot as an unusual plant pot for the courtyard...
