It was a red letter day at the library today. Linda’s doctor approved her move from leg cast to support boot and she’s finally off the crutches which is good news for both of us as she is officially allowed to go upstairs again.

This is Linda so she will probably still avoid working upstairs, but she has less of an excuse. I only hope Oscar doesn’t trip her up now that she’s more mobile. The last thing we need is for her to break her other leg.

“I am a new woman, Nina,” she declared, sipping her mug of tea at the issue desk.
